We are moving!

Mastertools once started in the garage and in the attic of one of the owners. A passion that got out of hand from the owner who had made a name for himself as a representative for a large regional hardware store. Trade via the well-known sales sites and in the region soon grew so fast that in 2010 the first real business premises were moved into. Mastertools was officially a company and the website was a fact.

At this time, Mastertools was still really a family business; two brothers, father and mother for support. The website was actually an afterthought, the focus was mainly on the entrepreneurs from the region. The two brothers were on the road every day with orders from companies and freelancers in the region. But it soon became apparent that the website was a very lucrative sales channel due to its greater reach. To be able to do more with this, the first employee was hired. Although Mastertools became a serious company at that time, because the gentlemen owner was now also responsible for personnel, there were no official dealerships yet. Mastertools mainly depended on the commercial spirit of the owners. Buy smart and sell well.

A few years later, with a large number of dealerships under their belt, this building also turned out to be too small and they moved into the building on Wasaweg. At that time an enormous progress in terms of surface area and office space. Wasaweg 29 has been in a good mood for Mastertools since 2015, because more than five years later this building is no longer able to support the growth of Mastertools. Almost 20 people now work full-time at Mastertools and the warehouse is bursting at the seams. So about six months ago it was decided to also say goodbye to the Wasaweg. On to a new chapter in the Mastertools history!

The new Mastertools building is a stone's throw from the (now) old building. This is an advantage in a number of ways. Think of the move itself, and also of our employees who are not forced to travel further. The biggest advantage is of course the extra space that we have at our disposal. Much more space in the warehouse, which allows us to purchase larger quantities and offer a wider range. We also create more freedom in the field of IT and administration, because there is more room for new colleagues.

At the time of writing, the move is in full swing and the decision has just been made to give up the final proverbial blow on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 July 2020. From Monday 20 July 2020 we expect to operate fully from our new building. On to healthy growth and an even better experience for our customers!
