Special characteristics

• Compact combination charger for charging 10.8V/12V max CXT and 14.4V/18V LXT batteries. The DC18RE has a cooling fan and for LXT batteries also Active 3 Controls. This means that the charging voltage, charging current and temperature are monitored during charging. The cooling system blows cooling air into the battery. This prevents high temperatures in the battery, which extends the life of the battery and accelerates the charging process. The batteries are not charged simultaneously and charge in order of placement. Not suitable in combination with the following adapters: ADP01, ADP02, ADP03, ADP04, BTC01 and BTC03.
