Special characteristics

• Makita HSS-TiN drills according to DIN 338 with 135° sharpened drill point. The titanium nitride layer provides low friction, which reduces melting of the material during drilling. This makes these drills extremely suitable for drilling in hard plastics. The shank for all sizes consists of 1/4" hexagon (DIN 3126). Drill color: gold. Suitable for drilling in unalloyed and alloyed steel, sintered iron, new silver, copper, bronze and hard plastics.
