Milwaukee Diamond Plus™ Wet/Dry Hole Saws 22mm ½" x 20 - 49565605

Special characteristics:

  • Drills and hole saws with diamond-tipped edges have been specially developed for professionals who frequently drill in extremely hard materials such as porcelain, stoneware, pavement tiles, cast iron or fibreglass. Materials that are usually difficult to drill with conventional hole saws. These holesaws guarantee excellent performance and superior service life, even in the hardest materials.
  • Water saving: these holesaws require only a minimal water supply unlike conventional diamond drills which require a continuous supply of water. Dip the drill or hole saw in water at the start of each hole to be drilled and then every 5 seconds while drilling.
  • Clean Holes: Drills clean and accurate holes without scratching.
  • Long service life: thanks to the use of high diamond quality fast drilling and a superior bronze bond matrix for the best durability.
  • Durability: Robust alloy body that does not bend or deform easily.
  • Convenient hole for drilling material removal: large openings for quick and easy removal of drilling material.
  • Versatile: can be used on an angle grinder with relevant adapter as well as with a drill.
  • How to use on an angle grinder?
  • 1. Screw the adapter M14 onto the hole saw and tighten it firmly with a wrench. Then lock the angle grinder's spindle lock and place the adapter directly on the spindle and tighten it properly.
  • 2. If the tile is not fixed to a wall or floor, make sure it is firmly secured with a clamp.
  • 3. Wear safety goggles and work gloves.
  • 4. Run the angle grinder at full speed. Approach the tile at a 20 – 30° angle with low pressure to prevent the hole saw from slipping. As soon as the hole saw begins to cut into the tile and a groove is formed, level the hole saw with the tile.
  • 5. Dip the hole saw in water every 5 seconds.
  • 6. Keep pressure low and oscillate while cutting to maximize life.
