Especially when connecting fine-wire conductors to terminals, electricians must ensure that the individual wires are not pinched or pushed next to them. If not, there is a risk of cable breakage or even a short circuit, which can eventually cause a fire. Ferrules can prevent this. They offer contact reliability and thus ensure long-term operational reliability. The conical collar facilitates insertion of the vein into the sheath during installation. The sleeve also makes it easier to insert the cable into the clamp. The twin ferrules are specially designed to connect two wires. For ease of use, the ferrules are contained in a dispenser with a twist lock with click function, secured against accidental opening. The halogen-free ferrules from Wiha are heat-resistant up to 105°C. They comply with DIN 46228, but are made with French color code (code 1).
