The cold-rolled blades are 44% stronger than hot-rolled blades and require 25% less cutting force due to the more precise blade tolerances. The compound lever reduces the pressure required for faster and easier cutting and improved life and reliability. The safety latch can be easily raised or released during one-handed use. The bottom blade is serrated, which provides better grip on the material and a smoother more consistent cut without double-marked edges. The high-strength alloy steel backs can withstand high pressure for cutting tougher materials and therefore last longer. The sturdy molded soft grips ensure superior handling comfort and performance.
