The shank diameter of common electrician's screwdrivers is often too large to reach deep-lying screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also endangers your own safety. With the Wiha slimTechnology specially developed for electrical applications, the insulation is integrated into the shaft to enable shafts to be up to 33% slimmer. This means that even deep-lying screw and spring elements can be reached effortlessly with the slimBits. The insulated slimBits are subjected to a 100% test in accordance with the international standard IEC 60900 and enable safe working close to live parts up to 1,000 V AC. In addition, the slimBits are stored in a smart Bitbox, which offers an optimal view of the screw profiles.
