How does the Makita free battery promotion work?
The free battery will be sent home by Makita Netherlands by registering your purchase of your CXT, LXT or XGT machine on their website. This is the step-by-step plan to get a free battery:
- Purchase a promotional machine from us as a Makita dealer. Here you will find all machines that participate!
- Go to www.makita.nl/offer
- Select the free battery promotion from 1-12 to 31-03
- Enter the requested information. For example: your personal details, information from the dealer where you purchased the machine, model number of your machine, upload your proof of purchase (you will receive this in the mail), upload a photo of the serial number of your machine
- Makita ships the battery within 5 weeks. ( PLEASE NOTE: Makita currently has no stock of batteries, so delivery takes longer than indicated. You can register, the battery will be delivered, but with a considerable delay.)

Which batteries are concerned?
When purchasing a CXT 10.8 / 12 V max machine you will receive a CXT 12 V 2.0 Ah battery worth €40.00.
When purchasing an LXT 18 and 2x 18 V machine, you will receive an: LXT 18 V 5.0 Ah battery. Valued at €90.00.
When purchasing an XGT 40 V Max machine you will receive an: XGT 40 V 2.0 Ah Max battery. Worth €115.00.
Also useful to know:
- To prevent fraud, the application will be processed after two weeks.
- The promotion also applies to customers in Belgium , provided that the machine has been purchased from an official Makita Netherlands dealer.
- For Business customers: You must provide a VAT and Chamber of Commerce number. You can request an unlimited number of promotional batteries during the promotion period, and only for different products. You can request 1 free battery per machine.
- For Private customers: You can request a maximum of 5 batteries during the promotion period, and only from different products. You can request 1 battery per machine.
- The application must be submitted to Makita before the end of April 2021 .
- An external company takes care of the implementation of the promotion and you can call the following number for questions: 040-2064064 (option 1).
- If a promotional machine is returned to the dealer, the right to the free promotional item will lapse. Any promotional items already sent must be returned to Makita Nederland BV Park Forum 1101, 5657HK EINDHOVEN.
- In the event of a well-founded suspicion of misuse of a promotion, Makita may decide that you will no longer be able to participate in Makita promotions in the future.
